The Soviet Union hasn’t been around for more than two decades now, but Vladimir Lenin still rests calmly in his mausoleum and a whole mess of streets all across the country still bear his name. We asked Yandex.Maps to count up how many “Lenin Streets” still exist in Russia today, and calculate their combined length. Yandex.Maps also looked at other popular street names in Russia, like all the roads named after the Bolshevik Revolution, and Meduza and Moscow Design Studio used the data to create an infographic for your enjoyment.
