One person injured in shelling of Russia’s Nekhoteevka

The locality of Nekhoteevka in the Belgorod region of Russia “was shelled by Ukraine,” says Vyacheslav Gladkov, the local governor.

“Eight buildings, a gas pipe and a power transmission line were damaged. One man was wounded by shrapnel, he is now receiving medical aid,” Gladkov said.

Gladkov restricted access to the localities if Zhuravlyovka and Nekhoteevka near the Ukrainian border yesterday. “We don’t want the residents to risk their lives for their chickens and a bucket of potatoes,” he said. He ordered to set up checkpoints and close entrances to the settlements.

Since the start of the Ukraine War, the Belgorod governor Vyacheslav Gladkov, as well as governors of other Russian regions bordering Ukraine, have repeatedly reported attacks on their territory. A school teacher was injured in yesterday’s shelling of Vorobzha in the Kursk region, as per Roman Starovoyt, the local governor.
