Russia’s Justice Ministry adds politician Yevgeny Roizman, lawyer Ilya Novikov, and TV Rain host Anna Mongayt to ‘foreign agents’ list
The Russian Ministry of Justice has included lawyer Ilya Novikov, TV Rain host Anna Mongayt, and ex-Mayor of the city of Yekaterinburg, Yevgeny Roizman, on the “foreign agents” list. The corresponding document was published on the website of the ministry.
Furthermore, ex-lawyer for Navalny Headquarters, Fyodor Telin, head of the Free Buryatia Foundation, Alexandra Garmazhapova, and employee of the Movement for Defence of Voters' Rights Golos, Vitaly Kovin, were all added to the “foreign agents” list. According to the Justice Ministry, all six people have received funding from Ukraine.
Lubov Barabashova, Sakhalin journalist for Sibir.Realii, was included on the “media — foreign agents” list.
Moreover, trans initiative group T-Action ended up on the “unregistered associations — foreign media” list.
Earlier today, the Ministry of Justice included private limited company City without Barriers (“Gorod bez pregrad”) on the list of “media — foreign agents” and charity foundation Social Partnership (“Sotsialnoye partnerstvo”) on the list of “non profit organisations — foreign agents”.
